Giovanni Ciarlariello appointed as Kirey’s new CEO: a new phase of growth and innovation begins

Milan, 10 March 2026 – Kirey, one of the leading champions of digital transformation in Italy and Europe, announces the appointment of Giovanni Ciarlariello as Chief Executive Officer. Under his leadership, Kirey will continue its evolution by focusing on the most innovative, distinctive and fastest-growing areas of the digital market: Data & AI, Cloud Architectures, Cybersecurity and Software Development. The company’s focus will remain on Europe, true to Kirey’s DNA, driven by a mix of organic growth and targeted M&A. With a degree in Mechanical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano and an MBA at Harvard Business School, Giovanni Ciarlariello brings to Kirey an outstanding profile built on more than twenty years’ experience in leading international companies across consulting, finance, technology and media. After starting his career in strategy consulting at McKinsey, he went on to hold roles of increasing responsibility at leading organisations including ING Direct, Google, Sky Italia and Iconsulting. He has led digital transformation projects, new product development, operations and marketing, managing multidisciplinary teams and significant budgets. His ability to operate in complex, highly competitive environments, combined with a results and customer-oriented approach, will be a key asset for Kirey’s new phase of development.
