What are we looking for?

  • Position yourself as a trusted advisor
  • Oversee the technical decisions, work with client staff charged with architecture standards, and ensure quality of results
  • Perform productively at many levels, from enterprise architecture to the concrete day-to-day world of coding, in order to produce the final deliverable desired by the client
  • Design, implement, integrate and support ServiceNow platform solutions
  • Create documents that specify strategy, assessment, or design in a way that delivers obvious value to the client and is understandable by any stakeholder
  • Work closely with clients, subject matter experts and the team to understand requirements, establish priorities and project scope, and manage expectations and project delivery
  • Articulate architectural differences between solution methods
  • Articulate the challenges and approaches to integrating solutions built on different platforms
  • Apply detailed knowledge of organizational procedures to make independent decisions and serve as a credible resource for the client’s senior management team
  • Collaborate with business development team during sales efforts to demonstrate technical capabilities, create a solution vision for a solution, and create estimates and work plans
  • Up to 25% travel expected, with a goal to keep travel at a minimum

And if you meet the following criteria:

  • Expert level understanding of one of ServiceNow core products ITSM or ITOM
  • Fundamental understanding of client side and server-side scripting – business rules, script actions, script includes, etc.
  • Fundamental understanding of client and server APIs (ex. GlideDialogWindow, GlideForm, GlideAggregate, GlideRecord, etc.)
  • Understanding of Outbound REST services and creating inbound Scripted Rest Services
  • Experience with web technologies (JSON, XML, HTML, JavaScript, REST and SOAP Web Services, etc.)
  • Understanding of implementation methodologies/SDLC (ex. Agile Scrum, Waterfall) and ServiceNow development best practices
  • Knowledge of how to assess the performance of a ServiceNow environment, how to diagnose performance problems, and best practices for improving performance
  • Platform migration to new versions of applications experience
  • ITSM/ITIL knowledge and expertise
  • ServiceNow System Administrator
