Junior Business Analyst, AX

AX Business Analyst will work within Client global IT competency center “IT Back Office service line” (BO SL), which manages deployments and support global finance applications in Client. The person will be attached to the team in charge of Accounting applications.

Mission is to provide AX level 2 support, level 1 being ensured by Sofia-based “super-users” team, and Level 3 by an external specialized provider, in coordination Business experts (FPPE).

Main Responsibilities

  1. Business Analysis
    • As a business analyst, you are responsible for gathering and translating business requirements into detailed function specifications and managing requests for changes to the specifications
    • You assist the business in determining how business requirements are integrated into the other processes
    • You ensure documentation is up to date
    • You are in touch with the business – usually working closely with the super-users of your application/solution and you work with our external delivery partners to develop or support our solutions
    • You help support the business in the creation of the test cases and in their data/systems migrations. You organize the training of key and end users as required
    • In this role you may support project definition, initial cost assessment of projects and integration of various project suppliers and vendors
    • Depending on your availability and capacity, you may also evolve by running the network of key users / super-users in the regions and leading training of users

  2. Support Level 2
    • As a Support Level 2 analyst, your role is to provide user support Level 2, between AX Support Level 1 (central super-user team in Sofia) and Level 3 (external provider)
    • You analyze all tickets sent from Level 1, provide solutions whenever possible, and escalate to Level 3 with proper qualifications
    • You follow-up incidents and act as a SPOC for business on production issue, and SLA follow-up
    • You define and prioritize solution release contents with business experts (FPPE), Support Level 1 and 3
    • You Perform regular bug/incident review with Level 1 and supplier
    • You Participate or organize hyper care post-go live support for projects
    • You execute non-regression testing and follow-up, while maintaining test case library

      – User guide and setup guide
      – Troubleshooting guides production and maintenance
      – Test cases library / campaign

Experience and knowledge

  • 0-3 years’ experience on AX 2009/2012 implementation and/or maintenance of the modules: General Ledger, AR/AP, Bank and Fixed assets
  • Knowledgeable on accounting and enterprise finance
  • Background in IT and/or Finance
  • Fluent English both written and spoken mandatory
  • Some SQL skills are a plus
  • Skilled on Microsoft Office

Technical/Functional Skills

  • Interest in the technical side (i.e.. debug, walkthrough code with technical expert) would be appreciated
  • Good analytical skills, and problem-solving skills
  • Good understanding of finance business process
  • Capacity to challenge business stakeholder and subject matter experts
