AP Accountant

Main Responsibilities

  • Process and analyze financial data related to the Accounts Payable system
  • Co-ordinate all accounting activities associated with Accounts Payable and the processing of such transactions between the respective Client Entities in line with Client functional policies
  • Ensure timely and satisfactory resolution of Accounts Payable queries
  • Maintain the Accounts Payable accounts as per Purchase Ledger and perform reconciliation of it to General Ledger
  • Prepare supplier reconciliation’s, investigating any differences promptly
  • Investigate any unallocated payments in the suspense account and assign them to the correct accounts payable account in a timely manner
  • Perform postings with good understanding of the applicable General Ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of transactions for GL accounting
  • Aged balance analysis
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls

Experience and knowledge

  • Previous experience in Finance/Accounting
  • Relevant University or Highschool degree ideally in Accounting/Finances
  • English (Fluent)
  • Experience in a multinational environment is an advantage
  • Experience with SAP
  • Good user knowledge of MS Office especially Excel
