What are we looking for?

The client is а US based company and the role requires US time zone coverage:

Working hours: 17:00/18:00 – 02:00/03:00 EET

  • Manage desktop support tickets and accurately handle incoming requests by triaging appropriately, ensuring work and timelines are clear
  • Participate in ticket review meetings to start identifying opportunities for improvements
  • Engage in daily, weekly, and monthly IT team meetings with teammates to maintain accountability and speak up to communicate gaps
  • Take on compliance-sensitive requests following documented procedures
  • Confidently handle customer issues via e-mails, phones, and walk-up service requests without requiring technical escalation
  • Handle complex requests including troubleshooting network issues, mobile device issues, and PC and Mac performance issues
  • Assist the team with routine audits and equipment inventory and orders
  • Proactively identify ways to improve department efficiency through creative ideas and solutions and bring them to manager
  • Mentor and train fellow teammates as needed

And if you meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Experience working in an enterprise IT ticketing system
  • 1+ years of relevant work experience in an Enterprise IT department troubleshooting a wide variety of end-user issues – file corruption, application software, BSODs and failed updates
  • Knowledge of Active Directory (Moves/Adds/Changes/Deletes), Office 365 ecosystem (at least one component – Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive)
  • Understanding of cyber security measures (multi-factor authentication, SSL certificates, etc.) and common security risks (phishing, password re-use and social engineering)
  • Knowledge and understanding of DNS, TCP/IP networking, Ethernet and Wi-Fi
  • Knowledge of PC hardware components
  • Knowledge of Azure AD, Azure MFA, Windows Server and PowerShell is preferred
  • Adaptable, custom-oriented and good communicator
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken
